New York 811 would like all stakeholders to submit their damage data or near miss data to the New York 811 Damage Incident Reporting Tool or DIRT. If you have any damages to your companies facility please use this tool. If your an excavator and you have damaged a facility weather at fault or not we encourage your to submit those reports to DIRT as well. Please keep in mind that this is an anonymous submission and your personal or company information will never be used or divulged. The purpose of this tool is to be able to analyze the data of damages and or incidents so New York 811 and its stakeholders can effectively use the data to view trends and incident/damage rates to better understand the causes of those incidents.
