The amendment to NYS Code Rule 753 will require any municipality or operator that engages in excavation work to require its excavators to complete a training and education program from their local One Call Notification Center. Learn more about the law change here.

Under this newly enacted law, receiving New York 811 Excavator Training & Education Program will constitute compliance with the law. New York 811 online or in-person training is available, at no cost to the excavator or organization.
